Seven-day film festival comes to an end in Delhi: Times of India

The first edition of Diorama International Film Festival, which concluded recently in Delhi, witnessed the screening of 104 films and was attended by 49 dignitaries. Iranian director Daruish Mehrjui and filmmaker Subhash Ghai won the lifetime achievement award at the festival. Both of them delivered speeches after receiving the awards. The Golden Sparrow award for best Indian actor male went to Ayushmann Khuranna for his performance in ‘Andhadhun’. Actress Taapsee Pannu won the Golden Sparrow award for best actor female for her role in ‘Mulk’. Director Sriram Raghavan won the Golden Sparrow award for best Indian feature film for 'Andhadhun'.


Diorama Film Festival was held at the Sirifort Auditorium from January 14 to 20. “We have begun a movement to kickstart a film industry in Delhi. I thank the entire film industry for their faith in us,” said festival director Manoj Srivastava.
