Why this subject matter for your film?

Our own satisfaction and happiness matter the most in this world and I feel so satisfied and happy when I see that charm on small kid's faces. They smile and they enjoy the simplest things of life even in tough weather conditions, something that I have learned from them. They love, love you and you cherish the love!

I have values of mother nature and more values for people who accept it and respect it and live it.

Interesting Fact : Siddharth spent two months in harsh weather of Spiti valley just to experience the local life.

Where did you find this story for this film?

I had planned to visit pin valley national park to experience what it's like to live in -30 degree temperature and see how people survive and manage in such vulnerable conditions. But when I visited there I faced more realities of the place.

So I had no plan for the story but the place is already full of stories. I just caught one on my camera. I made this film without any crew, I was the only outsider surviving with locals in pin valley national park for 2 months.

What were the challenges you faced in making the film?

Initially, I felt more challenged to be there, like cold weather, snowstorms, landslides but gradually when I spent time with the locals I learned something and was growing as a different individual. Over there people were so kind and overwhelmed to have guests. The most challenging part was those kids because they were not used to the camera. It took me nearly 5-6 days, few chocolates and fun puff's to befriend with the kids of a primary school of the gulling village. After that, I captured these cute Little Himalayan kids in their best moods.

Did you face any problems in releasing the film?

Today’s independent filmmakers face a number of problems from Budget to Production, Distribution, Finance, and Releasing is the biggest Problems. As viewers, they don’t always see these problems. However, these problems seem to be a major threat to their creativity. We need to start looking at more specific genres and exploring them with the craft that goes within them. As that increases, the exhibitors will start having faith in content and quality over formula, that way I guess the things will change.

This film is still in the film market and festival. Hopefully, the film will find its destination soon.

What was your background before making your first film?

I have been in the travel industry for the past 9 years now. Started as a nature photographer. And soon after that, I started Filmmaking.

How do you think filmmakers like you can overcome common challenges like finance and distribution?

The commercial aspect of filmmaking has been always a difficult task. For a filmmaker content is king and if the filmmaker has full faith in the content then I think the film will surely find its way. Patience is the key as every film has a target audience.

And of course, the government plays a very important role in travel documentaries. They should design different plans to promote, finance, and distribute films.
